Geographical Indications

A geographical indication basically refers to the name of a local product. In this sense, a geographical indication is a sign that indicates a product that is identified with the region, area, region or country of origin in terms of a distinctive quality, reputation or other characteristics. Geographical indications are divided into two as designation of origin and designation of origin.
